You may return new, unopened items purchased within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, net of shipping. Items should be returned in their original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost, unless the return is a result of our error. Items that are opened or returned more than 30 days after delivery will have a 15% restocking fee deducted from original amount.
Please contact our company at customercomesfirst@fishsupplystore.com for Return Merchandise Number (RMA) and return exchanges. Any product returned without an RMA number will be refused and not refunded. The product must be returned to our supplier Aquavista Enterprise Inc. (Aquavista) warehouse within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. Items that have been used or set up are non-refundable. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals and documentation that shipped with the product.

NOTE: FishSupplyStore recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to Aquavista or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.
Warranty
What the warranty covers:
Our supplier, Aquavista, warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, Aquavista will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a similar product. Replacement Product or parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer's original limited warranty.
How long the warranty is effective:
1. Aquavista aquariums products are warranted for one (1) year for body and six (6) months
for parts (excluding light bulb).
2. Aquavista accessories (frames, backgrounds) are not covered in warranty.
What the warranty does not cover:
1. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
A. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature,
unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with
the product.
B. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Aquavista.
C. Any damage of the product due to shipment.
D. Removal or installation of the product.
